Cam Zmenkowski, Head Coach (18U)
Cam has been involved with the game of hockey all his life, both as a player and as a coach. He started playing at the age of four and continued to play travel hockey for different organizations and also the Fox Chapel high school hockey team until his graduation. Cam played his final two amateur seasons with the Huskies organization, on the 16U and 18U National bound team. During his playing days with the Huskies 16U team, he began giving back to the sport as a junior assistant coach for the 12U team. Cam has helped guide the teams and players he coached onto winning playoff and tournament championships. Cam is entering his sixth season coaching Huskies teams with the 2020/21 season being his second as head coach. Cam is currently a USA Hockey Level 3 and is excited about earning his Level 4 in 2020.
Following the organization’s core values, Cam’s coaching philosophy aims to provide success and fun for his players both on the ice and outside of hockey, striving to produce better hockey players and better people. Cam is looking forward to another successful season for his team and the players during this upcoming season.
Bob Pierce, Assistant Coach (18U)
Bob is entering his fifth season coaching for the Pittsburgh Huskies organization. He has coached a number of our championship teams at three different age levels, 14U, 16U and most recently, 18U in 2019/2020. His teams have won multiple tournaments, including the Tampa Bay Lightning Invitational in 2020. Coach Pierce previously coached in the North Hills Vipers organization, with championship success at the 12U level. Bob currently holds his USA Hockey Level 3 certification.
Bob’s coaching philosophy is to always have fun, while working hard to achieve success, but most of all, to mold our players into the best they can be in all walks of life.
Jim Schwarzbach, Head Coach (14U)
Jim is entering his 14th season coaching in PAHL. The 2020/21 season will be his third as a head coach in the Huskies organization. Jim has previously held the head coach position with the Butler Valley Dawgs Squirt AA team. Jim holds a USA Hockey Level 4 certification.
Michael Longo, Assistant Coach (14U)
Michael is entering his third season as an assistant coach with the Pittsburgh Huskies and his fourth season overall. Michael grew up playing Tier I hockey in the Pittsburgh area, including playing juniors for the Mahoning Valley Phantoms. He then moved on to play at Penn State, where he was a member of their inaugural NCAA Division I team. Michael has a noticeable and infectious passion for the game and his attention to detail can be seen by watching one of his high paced practices. Michael holds a USA Hockey Level 3 certification.
J.S. Aubin, Goaltending Coach
J.S. is entering his third season working with the Pittsburgh Huskies organization. As a goaltending consultant, he works directly with all of our teams goaltenders in a 1-on-1 setting.
J.S. enjoyed a great playing career at the professional level. In the NHL, he was the starting goaltender for the Pittsburgh Penguins in the late 1990s/early 2000s. His experience at the highest levels of the game provides insights to our goaltenders that is hard to find elsewhere.
